MORE ABOUT RAISE THE BAR
Raise the Bar is an inclusive bootcamp community fuelled by teamwork, support and a bit of friendly competition.
We (Kate and Becks) met at a local training space, where we quickly became friends and soon enough regular training partners. We ended up competing together and supporting each other through races and tough workouts. It’s our love for movement and challenging ourselves that is so infectious amongst our community. Together, we’ve won running events and have hit podium in several functional fitness competitions. We’ve both competed at championship level and have coached members to do the same
We loved the friendship that we had built around movement and wanted to create a space that allowed others to find that too. We’re proud to be a community that trains for health and happiness, for strength and endurance, and not body goals! We offer hybrid training. This means that our classes offer a combination of strength, functional fitness, cardio and endurance.
Our classes are of a high intensity because we want to ensure you improve your fitness by training with us. Though we have a huge range of weights, and all movements can be modified, so we welcome all abilities. Whether you are early on in your fitness journey and looking to get started, or whether you’re already training regularly but looking for that extra push to improve your fitness, we can support you with your goals.
As a fitness community, it’s so important to us that we know all of our members by name, and that our members are able to get to know one another too. So outside of class, we plan regular socials, whether that be a coffee and a croissant, a pint at the local pub, or a trip up North to hike up a mountain (or 3!).
We’d argue that the energy of our classes is unmatched, but don’t take out word for it.
